After having won a scholarship that allowed her to relocate to Italy, in 1987 she took part in yet another collective exhibition at the Addis Abeba Hilton.
Very interesting are her graphic work and drawings for children's books, including Pinocchio by Collodi - that was translated into Ethiopian - which was especially appreciated (a copy of this book is in the Fondazione Nazionale Carlo Collodi in Pescia).
In her paintings one can notice that she acquired strength in her drawing skills and her qualities with regard to colours can be easily appreciated. Having been forced to suspend her artistic work for a few years, she started painting again more vigorously, being so in love with her world, in order to express her creative abilities with whatever she touches through color.
She received encouragement and praise from artists who are now well-established, such as Calabria, Attardi and Piali. Her previous exhibitions in 2003 at the Galleria Desiree’ in Frascati, in 2006-2008-2010 at The Consorti Gallery on Via Margutta, Rome and in 2013 and in 2015 at the Grand Hotel Plaza on Via del Corso, Rome, have had good success and have been appreciated by both visitors and the press.
